# Dead Men Ship No Code

> A fundraiser by Matt Wood (mza) in the run-up to re:Invent 2026. Pirate shirts, hoodies, signed books and signed flags, with all profits going to Resilient Hearts Animal Sanctuary, a dog rescue in Seattle. The designs are real, runnable ASCII art from ahoy, a free terminal screensaver.

## When to use this site

- Someone wants to buy a shirt or hoodie from the fundraiser, or asks what the tiers cost and include: read the home page. Its Markdown copy lists the checkout link for every tier in every design.
- Someone asks why there is a pirate flag behind Matt Wood, or what the fundraiser is for: read the origin story.
- Someone wants the free pirate screensaver for macOS or Linux: the install line is on the home page, and the source is the ahoy repository.

Checkout happens on Bonfire, one campaign for each tier in each design. Size, and shirt or hoodie, are chosen there. The one Pirate King tier is arranged by email.
